ALICIA TYLER

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 25 years of experience as a fitness professional and lifelong athlete. I bring a holistic, integrative approach to therapy that honors the connection between mind, body, and spirit. As a 200-hour certified yoga teacher currently completing advanced training in yoga therapy, I draw on both clinical and somatic tools to support whole-person healing.


I support adults and teens navigating a diverse range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, addiction, eating disorders, grief and loss, perfectionism, burnout, ADHD, chronic illness, trauma, and women’s issues. I also specialize in supporting athletes seeking to improve mindset and performance, as well as individuals looking for direction and deeper meaning in life.  My goal is to provide a safe and nonjudgemental space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experience. Together, we’ll identify effective tools and coping strategies to help you navigate life's challenges.


In addition to my professional training, I integrate both personal insight and professional expertise, recognizing how physical health, emotional resilience, trauma, and identity intersect. My approach is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and deep respect for your individual journey.


I offer a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)—especially for addiction—alongside Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Person-Centered Therapy, and Strength-Based strategies. Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and empowering, focused on fostering awareness, healing, and sustainable growth.
