Considering Out-of-Network Options?
How to Check Your Out-of-Network Mental Health Coverage If you’re considering using out-of-network benefits to work with us, we recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card. Here are key questions to ask your insurance provider:

-
Do I have out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health services?
-
Is there a deductible I need to meet before reimbursement begins? If so, how much has been met so far?
-
What percentage of each session fee is reimbursed after I meet my deductible?
-
How many mental health sessions are covered per calendar year?
-
Do I need a referral or prior authorization for out-of-network therapy sessions?
-
Where should I submit superbills or claims for reimbursement?
-
Are telehealth (online therapy) sessions reimbursed under my plan?

Understanding these details can help you estimate your potential out-of-pocket costs and ensure a smoother reimbursement process. If you need help interpreting your benefits, we’re happy to walk you through the process.
